I am registered with the governing body (BACP) British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

I am also registered with The SSSC Scottish Social Services Council and have been since 2011.

I have completed a COSCA approved training course at the University of Aberdeen Post Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and will undertake the Specialist Certificate Working with Children and Young People in August 2022.

I have over 25 years experience in working with children, young people and adults. In this time I have 22 years of working with children and young people who have been looked after by the local authority. I have 15 years experience of working with children and their families in a charity that provided abuse and trauma recovery. This was in my social work role.

I have been a volunteer counsellor with ACIS since 2019

I have been very active within further education gaining many qualifications.
